Leads
Where your leads come from, and everything you can do with one.
A lead is a person we identified for you, with their company, what they did and how well they fit your ideal customer. Leads come from five sources; all of them land in the same Leads table, where you filter, tag, export and act on them.
Which source do I need?
| You want to… | Use | Needs the pixel? |
|---|---|---|
| know who is on your website right now | Website visitors | Yes |
| find companies researching your topic before they visit you | 3rd-Party Intent | No |
| find websites that mention a keyword or run a competitor's script | Web Scraping | No |
| search a contact database by title, industry, size and location | Prospector | No |
| let AI find people who fit a description, every day | AI Scout | No |
Most customers start with website visitors: install the pixel and the leads arrive on their own.
Lead sources
Website visitors

3rd-Party Intent
Companies researching the topics you sell into, even before they visit your website.

Common questions
Why do I see the company but not the person? In the EU and the EEA, GDPR limits us to the company plus a suggested contact who fits your ICP. Everywhere else we show the exact person when we can match them. Which countries get the exact person?
Why is a visitor I know about not in my leads? Most likely they are not in our database; every tool has its own data. Also check that the pixel is on the page they visited (Install the tracking pixel) and that no Exclude rule keeps them out.
Does hiding or deleting a lead give the credit back? No. A credit is used when the lead is identified. Hiding keeps the lead's data and is reversible; deleting is permanent. Remove or block leads.
Can I get leads without the pixel? Yes: 3rd-Party Intent, Web Scraping, Prospector and AI Scout all work without it.
