# Lead details

> Open one lead to see the person, their company, how well they fit and an AI summary of their visits.

Every section below does the same job: in the dashboard (Guide), from your code (API) or through an AI assistant (MCP).

## Guide — In the dashboard

Source: /docs/leads/lead-details

Click any lead to open it: contact details, company, ICP score, every visit and where they came from.

<DemoFrame guide="leads-lead-details" to="/identify/{workspace}?tab=visitors" />

1. **Click a lead** in the table.
2. **Read the card:** contact, company, ICP score, visits and source.
3. **Add to campaign** to reach out, or move to the next lead with the arrows.

## API — From your code

Authenticated with `?privateKey=YOUR_KEY` (see [Authentication](/docs/authentication)).

<Endpoints ops={["GET /v3/leads/{leadId}", "GET /v3/leads/{leadId}/summary", "PUT /v3/leads/{leadId}/notes", "GET /v3/leads/{leadId}/company-people"]} />

<ApiPlayground
  ops={["GET /v3/leads/{leadId}", "GET /v3/leads/{leadId}/summary", "PUT /v3/leads/{leadId}/notes", "GET /v3/leads/{leadId}/company-people"]}
  method="get"
  path="/v3/leads/{leadId}"
  tool="get_lead"
  args={`{
  "leadId": ""
}`}
/>

### Use case: Get the summary of one lead [#use-case-get-the-summary-of-one-lead]

`GET /v3/leads/{leadId}/summary` returns a short AI summary of who they are and what they looked at. The `leadId` comes from `GET /v3/leads`.
