# Notes on leads

> Write notes on a lead that your whole team can see.

Every section below does the same job: in the dashboard (Guide), from your code (API) or through an AI assistant (MCP).

## Guide — In the dashboard

Source: /docs/leads/comments

Notes keep your team on the same page: what was said, what happens next.

<DemoFrame guide="leads-comments" to="/identify/{workspace}?tab=visitors" />

1. **Open a lead.**
2. **Notes → write → Save note.**
3. Everyone on your team sees it on that lead.
