# Clay

> Send new leads to a Clay table to enrich and route them.

Every section below does the same job: in the dashboard (Guide), from your code (API) or through an AI assistant (MCP).

## Guide — In the dashboard

Each lead that matches the automation is added as a row of a Clay table, through the table's webhook. Clay can then enrich it further and send it on.

1. **In Clay**, add a webhook source to your table and copy its URL.
2. **Automations → New automation**, then **Send to Clay**, and paste the URL.
3. **Choose** every lead or only leads with a suggested contact, then **Save**.

### Use case: Only leads Clay can work with [#use-case-only-leads-clay-can-work-with]

Set `whenToPush` to `only-with-suggested-contacts` so only leads with a person to enrich are sent.
